JB GRC 5-YEAR MASTER PLAN 2021 – 2025

Our 5-Year Master Plan for 2021 to 2025 details more than 150 projects and facilities planned by the Town Council and government agencies over the next five years.

Themed “Our Stories. Our Hopes. Our Home”, it is a reflection of the collaborative process the Town Council took in crafting the Master Plan. The Master Plan focuses on four key areas: Multi-Generational, Accessibility, Active Ageing and Nature.

We would like to thank everyone who generously shared your thoughts with us. Over the next five years, we will see many ideas become reality, as we make Jalan Besar an even more liveable place for all.


 

The Master Plan was virtually launched on 22 June 2020 by the MPs of Jalan Besar GRC. You can watch the video here:

In 2015, Jalan Besar Town Council launched our 5-Year Master Plan for 2016-2020, titled ‘My Kampung in the City’.
 
We promised to upgrade and uplift our Town. Over the five years, more than 200 projects implemented by our Town Council and various government agencies have come to fruition. We hope this commemorative book will be a pleasant reminder of how our kampung has been transformed into a wonderful place to live, work and play.
